I'm a trade policy reporter based in Washington, D.C.
I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom and completed my MA in journalism at American University in Washington, D.C. I have spent more than five years reporting, researching, writing, and designing data visualizations on a issues ranging from trade, economics, human rights and climate.
I have written short and long-form reporting pieces, op-eds, essays, explainers, and newsletter issues for several digital platforms. I am currently covering trade policy for Inside U.S. Trade in Washington, D.C.

I spent several years working as part of a data visualization team, using Datawrapper, Adobe Illustrator and R to build static and interactive charts and visualizations. I am constantly seeking to expand my technical capabilities in R and ggplot to broaden my skillset and incorporate more chart types, topics and analysis into my portfolio.
I have produced several short videos and gif animations for social media, undertaking every part of the production process including shooting footage, script writing, editing in Adobe Premier Pro and building animations in After Effects.
